following the faded and torn poster's final fading breaths of '6a-----kensington market' initiated the search for a bookstore or infoshop in Kensington market. Unraveling the stories of the cities by teasing at the few threads I know here, I am hoping to finally get to know more than just the storefront facad of the city. I have added more places to plant my feet onto my teasure map of the city, which begins here at Kensington market, and weaves through toronto...as i continue burrowing in through these here city cracks...

(european orig.) (or alternatively 'peace and justice centres' (u.s.ah orig.))
"Infoshops combine a social space, zine archive and library, meeting hall, day care center, concert venue and bookstore into one autonomous space." "infoshop supporters and participants aren't necessarily all anarchists. Infoshops are rooted in the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) ethic-they are created by people who are interested in making the revolutionary process happen, not just sitting around and talking about it. In a moment of soundcatchinguptolight post-quotation twist, the original quotee of the poster in the Arlington street comunity abode is also the same Emma referred to in the now extinct book store's name,
